My own story is more like your son's --- I've more or less ALWAYS been writing. All the way back to grammar school, basically.  But became 'serious' about it in 10th grade.&lt;br /&gt;
When I still had a full-time &quot;day job&quot; writing was a key component, even though it was reports, manuals, policies, correspondence, and other documentation.  Still, it kept my fingers working and kept me familiar with words.&lt;br /&gt;</description>
